It was a weekend of flying. I got my currency check done by Major Shahrul on the Cessna 172 (9M-RED) then thought of shooting up with George to Bernam River Airport to check-out the new airstrip Suren is putting together. Bumped into Cliff and since Eddy was getting checked-out on the A109, somebody suggested Bernam and voila! We get to sit in the back seat. Hehe.

Most of us haven't really seen each other in months some even years! The old gang is back and we had an awesome game just for old times sake at the Emerald Perdana Courts. Yours truly had some rusty but "still have it" moves from the paint. Haha. More pics in here somewhere. Peace!

Yesterday. more than 40 top celebrities from various industries in Malaysia came together at the MSN Stadium Bukit Jalil to show their support for Cancer Research. Afdlin Shauki, Elaine Daly, Harith Iskandar, Yasmin Yussof, loads of them... came to show their support!

I leave for Turkey, week commencing 16th June to speak at the World Radio Broadcasters Forum.

Loads of peeps were asking me why the airspace over the Klang Valley were being terrorized by all kinds of jets knowing that I spend most of my time on air (literally), so since the RMAF didn't do their bit in publicizing the event, I helped them out by airing a short mention over the radio.

The whole past week these boys were doing their practice runs, drills, bomb drops, para jumping, fly-passes etc and yours truly plonked himself up high on the control tower to get the world's best view. Thanks to everyone in the RMAF, DCA, Tower Control especially Kak Lin for hooking me up with the exclusive privelage!
